Highlights

  • The primary map and Profile View were upgraded to MapLibre 6, alongside a new built-in coordinate grid.
  • Chart Explorer gained UK and Germany en-route airspace, regional ATS airspace for Germany, the UK, and Japan, and a realigned US ATS structure.
  • Airspace boundaries and measurement circles now render correctly across the international dateline.

Improvements

  • Resolved aircraft registration country from nationality marks and ICAO address allocations.
  • Loaded regional airspace data on demand and extended the content policy to workers, manifests, and assets.
  • Upgraded to Node 24, React Router 8, and TypeScript 7, and split large modules behind characterization tests.

Fixes

  • Restored approach and en-route trails after graphics context recovery.
  • Corrected Korean P518 and Northern Limit Line boundaries and their coastline rendering.
  • Restored the gridline toggle after the upgrade and removed a tower twilight seam.

In Progress

  • Auditing airspace conventions across countries to define a shared, user-facing taxonomy.
  • Profiling regional airspace loading to guide further performance work.
  • Splitting large map modules into smaller, tested units.
